How it Works
Catify is an Editor Add-on designed to bring humor to the writing process. It reads the user's current text selection and algorithmically replaces words with feline sounds (meows, purrs, chirps) without breaking the flow of the document.
Smart Translation
Replaces words with random sounds from a curated pool of "common" and "rare" cat noises.
Data Preservation
Intelligently detects and skips numbers, dates, and currency (e.g., "$50" or "2025") so context isn't lost.
Punctuation Aware
Detaches and re-attaches punctuation marks (.,!?) to ensure sentences keep their grammatical structure.
Format Locking
Copies font styles (Bold, Italic, Color, Size) from the original text to the new "Meows."
Footer Generation
Automatically appends a signature footer to the document to attribute the design.
